SAP & Business Process Change can be critical to the continued positive performance of your business or its continuing growth. The processes that allowed the business to grow to £5M turnover are unlikely to cope with a £50M or £500M turnover and so on.
SAP is the world leader for enterprise planning systems and isn't just about the huge multinationals. It has a dominating presence within the SME sector and for good reasons. With over 40 years of experience and German engineering, it is renowned for capability and understanding of the business processes required by countless business types.
Squirrelhouse Consulting Advice
We provide strategic advice for businesses considering moving to SAP. We can advise you on the products available, typical costs and introduce you to SAP and appropriate implementers. As we are not resourced to do the implementation ourselves we won't give you the heavy sell.
We also help with specific tactical advice in the implementation approach and more particularly in manufacturing and supply planning.
Contact David at Squirrelhouse Consulting to briefly discuss your needs with no obligation. With lower overheads than most SAP consultancies, our standard rates are highly competitive.
Change Management
It is vital to understand that implementing SAP, Oracle JD Edwards or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems is not about buying IT!
All implementations generate significant change in the organisation and if it wasn't like that then it wouldn't be the enabler for growth that it is intended to be.
We have an excellent understanding of the implications of change and how to mitigate the negative aspects of it for those concerned.
Our Experience
We have been managing change through implementation of business processes and systems since the 1980s and in a SAP context since the mid 1990s.
Our Consultant, David, has implemented SAP in manufacturing / supply chain scenarios since 1994 with 9 successful full life-cycle SAP implementations overall, including the acclaimed Nestlé GLOBE programme.
Through the Nestlé GLOBE programme, he implemented Supply Planning processes with SAP APO in many business scenarios:- pet food, breakfast cereals and water. Successful supply planning implementations were carried out on-time and to budget at 6 factories and 4 head offices.
He held a steering role in GLOBE's predecessor project, IMPACT, a prototype model for Nestlé's worldwide manufacturing business processes. He was also project manager for the implementation of a number of projects that arose out of IMPACT and followed this with a role as SAP Business Process Manager for Nestlé UK's Confectionery Division.
More recently, David has advised Tate & Lyle with regard to their global SAP rollout programme and we wish them success in their implementation.
