What's he like?

Professionally qualified as a Chartered Engineer, Chartered IT Professional and Prince-2 Accredited Project Manager with wide IT and business systems implementation experience over +25 years (with 15 years experience of implementing SAP).

Comfortable working with business of all sizes and at all levels from board level strategy and project steering and management, through to programming, configuration, data management, user-training and delivery.  Equally happy with high-tech and low-tech as long as it is the most appropriate solution for the business need.

David's a friendly guy who enjoys helping people. He's a Yorkshireman and believes in finding simple, understandable solutions through technology that are of real help and don't frustrate.

David's Background

His career has taken him to a number of senior IT roles for Nestlé. A steering member of project Impact, prototype of the renouned and highly successful project Globe, a $1B implementation of enterprise SAP business processes for Nestlé worldwide. 

An expert in process manufacturing and supply chain environments, he has implemented many Oracle applications and from 1994 on, primarily implementing SAP and systems integrated with SAP through Automated Data Capture (AIDC). Over the last decade, he has managed and implemented 6 successful full-lifecycle implementations of Supply Chain Planning processes (SAP APO PP-DS, MRP) and 2 successful implementations of Manufacturing processes (SAP PP-PI) .

Since leaving Nestlé, David has forged many new business relationships allowing Squirrelhouse to develop into a cohesive team of professionals. He has worked with a number of PLCs and businesses of various sizes; providing consulting for SAP, business processes and organisation and online, e-commerce and more.
