Why Squirrels?
Its easy to forget our planet when you're deeply entrenched in your business complexities.
Squirrels have many positive attributes which we like to think we draw on here at Squirrelhouse Consulting. Squirrels are very adept at making the best of their available resources, like this little chap to the left.
They find solutions to the complex puzzles of their real world with tenacity and confidence in their abilities to get around any obstacles to reach their end goal...the nut!
Looking after our environment
In West Yorkshire, where we are based, sadly we have mostly lost our native red squirrels. However the greys are equally interesting and continuing in our theme of staying grounded with nature we chose an ecologically sound platform for hosting this website.
A tree has been planted to offset our CO2 footprint and our first certificate is shown to the right. We have a number of trees planted now and as our business grows, so will the trees that bring life to our planet.
Did you know?
There is only 1% of our UK ancient forest still intact but UK forests help to counter carbon dioxide emissions by removing over 10 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year!
A recent survey found that 78% would be inclined to choose a supplier with green credentials against the opposition.
The trees are planted in Alladale in Scotland through Carbon Managers, a registered charity. You can buy trees yourselves either through the link below or through giving Squirrelhouse your custom and we will be glad to buy trees on your behalf.
